Strart hired our Custom Software service and from a very flexible development model, we created a web app and an administration dashboard for the buying and selling of artwork applied to objects (such as mugs, notebooks or paintings).  As new needs emerged, new functionalities were defined and the product was iterated using agile methodologies. 

Throughout the process, we receive feedback from both the company and the users, and we make the necessary changes to build a product exactly tailored to their needs.

Strart.art is a digital product composed of a web app and an administration dashboard aimed at buying and selling printed works based on murals, digital art, oil, acrylic, among others; and original paintings. The user can choose the piece he/she wants to print on an object (such as a mug, notebook, t-shirt, etc.), define the sizes and materials, then proceed to pay and have it delivered home.

Artists from all over the world can upload their works, describe them, specify the country of origin and assign tags to facilitate the search. People who are interested can purchase original paintings as well as prints on a specific item available in an extensive catalog. 

Through the app you can save works to purchase them at a later time, choose the characteristics of a printed object (sizes, material, colors), make purchases with a credit card, enjoy the artists' galleries (learn in detail how the works were made, or get info about the author such as their nationality or their Instagram).

XOOR developed this product from scratch. First, we developed the web app interface using Adobe XD, taking into account the requirements and needs expressed by Strart in a collaborative process. Then, we designed the administration dashboard in Figma.

Next, the PWA and dashboard code was defined using React. In addition, a GraphQL API was deployed using Node.js. In both Frontend and Backend, we used Typescript. Stripe was integrated as a payment method, and Sendgrid was used to manage the emailing.

Finally, we made an effort to provide multi-language support: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French and German. We included five options that helped Start to expand its reach throughout Europe.
